After the long wait, our favourite adventure team – The Gourmet Guild from “Princess Connect: Redive” aka Priconne has finally returned with the second season this January. For those who don’t know “Princess Connect: Redive” popularly known as “Priconne” is an anime based on the popular smartphone Action-RPG game developed by Cygames which debuted in February 2018 in Japan a became a social hit.
In 2020 it was announced that the series will be adapted into an anime adaptation by Cygames inhouse studio Cygames Pictures and aired in Spring 2020. The series did amazingly well and was the highest-selling Blu-ray/DVD release of the year leading to the game’s worldwide release in early 2021. Following the success of the first season, a season 2 was announced in August 2021 and it was revealed that there will be a bit of change in staff. Yasuo Iwamoto will direct the new season, with Kanasaki only supervising the production. Mai Watanabe joins Kurita, Yang, and Noda to provide character designs, and Imagine will return to compose the series’ music.
Episode 1 of Princess Connect Season 2 is scheduled to release on January 11, 2022, at 12:00 am JST and is confirmed to run for 12 episodes with a new one releasing every Tuesday.
Plot Of The Anime:
In the beautiful land of Astraea where a gentle breeze blows, a young man named Yuuki awakens with no memory of his past.
There he encounters a guide who has sworn to care for him—Kokkoro, a lovely swordswoman who’s always feeling peckish—Pecorine, and a cat-eared sorceress with a prickly attitude—Karyl. Led by fate, these four come together to form the “Gourmet Guild.”

Where Can I Watch Priconne Season 2 anime online? Is is available on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Netflix?
Viewers in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can stream the new episodes of Princess Connect season 2 on the Official streaming site Crunchyroll and VRV. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episodes.
Meanwhile, Aniplus Asia announced they will stream the show in Southeast Asia in multiple subtitles including English, Thai, Vietnamese.
The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours. Here is when the same episode will release in your region:
- Pacific Time: 10:30 AM PDT
- Central Time: 13:30 PM CDT
- Eastern Time: 14:30 PM EDT
- British Time: 7:30 PM BST

How Many Episodes Season 2 of Princess Connect will have?
It has been announced that the “Princess Connect” Season 2 anime will have a total of 12 episodes and which will air from January 11, 2022, to March 28, 2022. A new episode will be released every week on Tuesday at 12:00 AM JST.
Princess Connect Season 2 English Dub Release
Unfortunately as of writing, there is no official confirmation when the English dub for Princess Connect Season 2 English Dub Release will release. However taking into account the popularity of the series in English speaking countries and the fact the anime streaming giant Crunchyroll is streaming, who lately have been producing dubs for almost all of their popular shows such as Rent-A-Girlfriend, I am a Spider so what; it is relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon.
Will The Anime Come to Netflix?
If we talk about it coming to Netflix, that’s not gonna happen, at least for quite a while. The series might get available on Netflix after the season has concluded. Currently, the series is only available on Netflix Japan.
